IBC confirmed as TVBAwards sponsor

IBC is once again showing its support for the upcoming TVBAwards, returning as sponsor of the drinks reception

IBC is once again showing its support for the upcoming TVBAwards, returning as sponsor of the drinks reception. The IBC team is behind the annual broadcast event which closed this week, having drawn over 55,000 visitors to Amsterdam’s RAI.

Based in London and headed up by CEO Mike Crimp, the IBC team works year-round to ensure the highest quality delivery of the IBC experience. IBC2015 ran from 11 September and closed this week. More than 250 top level speakers delivered numerous conference sessions; exhibition visitors had more than 1,800 vendors to choose from; and visitors benefitted from innovations including the new drone zone.

TVBEurope’s TVBAwards is taking place on Thursday 22 October at Bloomsbury Ballroom, London. The event will open with the IBC-sponsored drinks reception, followed by a three-course dinner and the presentation of the awards. Guests can then enjoy an aftershow party and the opportunity to network with colleagues.

The awards are project-based to recognise those providing superior services to the industry with regards to the production and delivery of media content, and also to its management. The five special awards recognise unique achievements across a variety of disciplines. The shortlisted candidates have been announced and entries will be judged by an independent panel of experts, with winners announced on the night.

Now in its second year, the TVBAwards will move to a new central London location for 2015. Located within Victoria House The Bloomsbury Ballroom is an opulent art-deco 1920’s event space situated on Bloomsbury Square only a few minutes walk from the West End or the City.
