Next year’s event will make the production debut of the I-Movix X10, with systems due to be located at selected competition venues.
The X10 is said to go beyond the functionality of previous systems by delivering 300-fps real-time continuous streaming in 1080i for an ‘always on’ ultra-slow motion view of the action. The typical LSM workflow gives production teams the ability to deploy it as a conventional HD camera, while the consistent user interface and controls make it suitable for use by any broadcast crew, without specialist training.
Each X10 system is used with an EVS XT3 live production server. Developed in partnership with EVS, the X10 is a fully broadcast-integrated solution, and includes the latest version of high-speed HD camera, a camera control unit, and an operational control panel.
