Hillary and Chelsea Clinton, Gareth Southgate join RTS Cambridge Convention 2021

RTS Cambridge Convention 2021 takes place from 15-16th September

Hillary Rodham Clinton and Chelsea Clinton have been added to the list of speakers at next month’s RTS Cambridge Convention.

The pair launched production company HiddenLight Productions last year, and will join Mary Beard to discuss the stories that fascinate them, and how the company facilitates their global approach to storytelling.

England football manager Gareth Southgate has also joined the speaker line-up for the event. He will join presented Clare Balding for a conversation about what Britishness means.

Theresa Wise, CEO at the Royal Television Society, said: “The eminent combination of Hillary and Chelsea Clinton in conversation with Mary Beard promises an erudite and unmissable session, and a great addition to our packed programme of industry heavyweights who are set to share their insights on Broadcasting Britain. We are very much looking forward to welcoming all the speakers and the wider industry to Cambridge for what is set to be an impactful and thought-provoking set of sessions.”

The RTS Cambridge Convention 2021 takes place from 15-16th September at King’s College in Cambridge, and is titled Broadcast Britain: Reshaping Britishness on the global stage.
