Discovery Networks Norway and Sweden CEO Harald Stromme is to leave after eight years with the company.
Sindre Østgård, Nordic director for digital services and development, has also stepped down.
Stromme’s decision appears to have been lead by a disagreement over the future of the broadcaster.
“Discovery is well positioned for the future, but the owners and I have different views on what steps are now needed to achieve success,” said Stromme.
“Thanks to the remarkable efforts of all the employees, we have doubled the viewing shares and quadrupled both revenue and bottom line.”
