Fountain Studios – which provides a home to top-rated TV shows including The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent and Penn & Teller: Fool Us – has completed the final stage of its HD facilities upgrade with the Fineline Media Finance-assisted purchase of a second Sony MVS studio mixer.
Incorporating the UK’s largest fully-equipped TV studio, Fountain has undertaken a complete studio upgrade over the last couple of years in response to ever-increasing demand for HD facilities.
The installation of the new Sony HD vision mixer for the studio gallery was completed with no break to the studio schedule. The mixer will also provide the studio with an element of future-proofing for 3D production.
Mariana Spater, managing director of Fountain Studios, commented: “We chose Fineline to assist us with this purchase due to their close association with Sony. They certainly have good industry knowledge, and this combined with their competitive rates made them attractive for this final stage of our upgrade.
