Eurofins acquires My Eye Media

Deal gives Eurofins an entry into the US

Eurofins Digital Testing has announced the acquisition of US-based company Me Eye Media.

The Brussels-based company says it has bought Me Eye Media in order to “strengthen its ability to help serve multiplatform TV and video service providers, including studios, programmers, broadcasters, OTT providers and operators around the globe.”

Financial details of the acquisition have not been announced.

As part of the acquisition, Eurofins Digital Testing gains its first major foothold in the US with offices in Burbank, California and New York, as well as additional locations in Warsaw and Tokyo. Similarly, My Eye Media is now better positioned to continue its global expansion of localised content testing services under the Eurofins Digital Testing umbrella.

My Eye Media’s team of approximately 80 people will be retained, and Michael Kadenacy, CEO and founder of MyEyeMedia, will remain with the company as president, reporting to Johan Craeybeckx, business line director, Eurofins Digital Testing International.

“My Eye Media is a pioneer in addressing the technical intricacies required for testing digital motion picture content,” said Eurofins’ Craeybeckx. “With this acquisition, we will collaborate with My Eye Media to expand our capabilities to meet the evolving needs of studios, OTT providers, cable and satellite operators, and content owners around the world. ”

“We are extremely excited to join Eurofins Digital Testing, as we continue to build best-in-class services to support our clients’ global content testing requirements,” added Michael Kadenacy. “The combined strengths of both organisations will enable media and entertainment companies to ensure quality experiences across an ever-expanding number of screens and devices, and we look forward to a bright future together.”
