TVBEurope is pleased to confirm that Ericsson has joined this year’s TVBEurope 2020 conference as a Gold Partner.
The one-day strategy summit, which will take place at Bafta London on 28 June, forms the centrepiece of TVBEurope Strategy Week: a series of in-depth discussion opportunities incorporating the TVBEurope 2020 conference, roundtables and webinars.
Ericsson aims to drive the evolution in TV experiences on all screens and devices across the entire TV and video value chain. Its TV Anywhere vision brings modern technologies to the TV world, enabling TV service providers to combine the quality of service and content depth of pay-TV with the interactivity and multiscreen capabilities of OTT video.
Simon Frost, global head of media marketing and communications, Ericsson, will join Martyn Whistler and Russell Grute as a speaker on the TVBEurope 2020 panel ‘How market conditions are shaping long term business strategy’.
The panel will discuss how technological advances, consumer behaviour and industry consolidation affecting the current and future business marketplace in broadcasting. It will also consider how companies should evolve to futureproof their businesses, and how to form a medium to long-term strategy with these advances in mind.
This year’s conference programme is the most forward looking TVBEurope agenda to date, addressing the future role of broadcasters in an IP-enabled world, the value and effectiveness of common standards across the convergent IP and UHD ecosystems, and the impact of market forces on long-term business strategy.
