South European media company United Group has appointed Dr Kim Kyllesbech Larsen as chief technology and information officer.
With more than 25 years of experience in the industry, Dr Larsen has held senior leadership positions at a number of international technology and communications providers.

Founder of TechNEconomY and operating partner at Macquarie Asset Management, he advises on telecom infrastructure investments with a focus on fibre, towers and next-gen 5G/6G innovation, and as a board member of both Tusass A/S (Greenland) and Fiberhost (Poland), he focuses on operational excellence and the safeguarding of critical infrastructure.
As CTIO at T-Mobile Netherlands and Magyar Telekom, Dr Larsen led initiatives across IT cloud adoption, network modernisation and the formation of T-Infra BV (now part of Cellnex Netherlands). He was also a member of the leadership team responsible for managing T-Mobil Netherlands to private equity.
