Visual effects company DNEG has confirmed it plans to launch on the London Stock Exchange, as it aims to fast-track its growth plans.
DNEG said it’s aiming to raise £150 million from the listing as it looks to boost its profile within the media and entertainment industry.
The company’s management has already held early-stage meetings with investors; DNEG said it expects to start trading on the stock exchange in November.
“A London listing will continue our development as one of the world’s leading partners for the film, television and entertainment industries,” said the company’s chief executive Namit Malhotra.
DNEG’s clients include Warner Bros, Universal, Sky, Netflix and Amazon. The company has provided visual effects for the Harry Potter films, as well as Chernobyl, Doctor Who and Westworld.
