Discovery Communications and ProSiebenSat.1 are launching a new premium entertainment streaming service in Germany.
The AVoD service, which launches today, is available on the existing ProSiebenSat.1 7TV brand digital platform and app.
The service is launching with nine German terrestrial channels including ProSieben, SAT.1, kabel eins, sixx, ProSieben MAXX, SAT.1 Gold and kabel eins Doku, as well as Discovery’s free to air channels DMAX and TLC. Content will be available free of charge, live and through catch up.
7TV is also planning to launch a Eurosport Zone which will feature selected sports highlights and clips.
