Discovery Networks, BBC Worldwide sign content agreement

Discovery will broadcast a number of the BBC's flagship series including Planet Earth II and Top Gear

Discovery Networks Latin America/US Hispanic and BBC Worldwide have signed a deal to make the natural history broadcaster home of many of the BBC’s popular titles.

It will mean Discovery will broadcast a number of the corporation’s flagship series including Planet Earth IITop Gear and The Great British Bake Off.

“Discovery has had a longstanding partnership with the BBC Worldwide and we are very excited to be the home of these world-famous franchises,” said Carolina Lightcap, ‎EVP and chief content officer for DLA/USH. “This agreement further solidifies Discovery’s commitment in offering high-quality programming throughout our networks in Latin America.”
