Digital Vision has unveiled an aggressive new pricing structure for its restoration product Phoenix and DVO software toolset. What’s more, it says the new pricing sets a standard for the industry with “no other solution able to offer a fully tailored system for restoration, finishing and remastering.”

“Digital Vision is dedicated to continue supplying a feature rich toolset that answers the needs of its customers and reflects today’s market. As such the company will be making further key announcements in the coming months,” explained Torbjörn Dyrvold, Digital Vision Restoration Product Manager. “Aside from these new price changes, which allow more customers to take advantage of our premium restoration and remastering tools, we will also be addressing specific market requests with new products and price points that will see Digital Vision continue to lead the market.”

As part of its commitment to provide the best software tools Digital Vision has also announced plans for the release of DVO Clarity in June. The next-generation of de-noiser and film grain management software, which was extremely well received at this year’s NAB, will be included in the current DVO Enhance software package at no extra cost.

“We are extremely proud of Clarity, which is the fruit of twenty years R&D. We see this technology as core to our restoration and image enhancement solutions and as such would like as many customers as possible to benefit,” adds Martin Bennett, VP Worldwide Marketing.
