Deluxe acquires Sundog Media Toolkit

Technology has been integrated into the Deluxe One workflow.

Deluxe has acquired Cloud-based platform Sundog Media Toolkit for an undisclosed sum.

The platform creates specialised multi format, multi-language files for theatrical distribution and streaming platforms and was first launched in 2013. Founders Richard Welsh and Chris Ralph have joined Deluxe in senior executive positions.

Deluxe has incorporated the technology into its Deluxe One workflow, will the company says will create “the industry’s most sophisticated and comprehensive end-to-end solution for mastering content, including asset/library management, localisation, and final delivery.”

“This acquisition confirms our commitment to innovation that puts us ahead of the increasing complexity and scale needs of our customers’ day and date multiplatform releases.”
