DAZN chair to speak at RTS Cambridge Convention 2021

Theme of this year's event is Broadcast Britain: Reshaping Britishness on the global stage

Kevin Mayer, chairman of sports streamer DAZN, is among the speakers at September’s RTS Cambridge Convention 2021.

The in-person event takes place from 15-16th September at King’s College in Cambridge, and is entitled Broadcast Britain: Reshaping Britishness on the global stage.

Mayer will deliver an international keynote address at the Convention, as will YouTube’s chief business officer, Robert Kyncl.

Other confirmed speakers include Casey Bloys, chief content officer, HBO;  Melanie Dawes, CEO, Ofcom; Oliver Dowden, secretary of state for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport; Lutz Schüler, CEO, Virgin Media O2; Deborah Turness, CEO, ITN; Tim Davie, director-general BBC; Alex Mahon, CEO, Channel 4; Carolyn McCall, CEO, ITV; Richard Sharp, chair of the BBC; and Dana Strong, CEO, Sky Group.
