Vivendi is looking to revamp Dailymotion’s user experience throughout 2017.
The company expects the changes to enable Dailymotion to expand its user base from its existing 400 million users.
Dailymotion will also look to build its international presence following the opening of an office in Abjidjan to expand its African reach.
Under the same announcement, Vivendi CEO Arnaud de Puyfontaine said that short-form mobile video initiative Studio+ would launch its new premium service next week.
Du Puyfontaine said that 25 original series, comprising ten short episodes, had already been produced in six languages across 18 countries, with about 60 series currently in development.
