BVE has partnered with the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund (CTBF).
The charity provides care and financial support to industry professionals and their families who suffer from hardship.
Starting with BVE 2016, CTBF will be the show’s official charity partner for the next three years.
It will be running initiatives throughout the 2016 show, designed to increase its profile with key target audiences.
The initiatives include the hosting of the CTBF Advice Hub, an exclusive panel discussion with Dhiraj Mahey, independent producer and consultant to The CTBF, and two keynote speaker sessions.
Interviews with industry professionals will also take place to discuss the role the charity plays within the industry, such as David Abraham, CEO of Channel 4, and Cameron Saunders, managing director of 20th Century Fox UK.
