Ateme completes acquisition of Anevia

Ateme announced in July that it had entered into negotiations to acquire the OTT and IPTV software provider

Ateme has completed its acquisition of Anevia, purchasing 87 per cent of the OTT and IPTV software provider.

Ateme announced in July that it has entered into negotiations to take control of Anevia, stating that the transaction had the prior unanimous support of the boards of directors of both companies.

At the time, the two companies said joining together would create a major player in video broadcasting infrastructure, with a combined revenue of more than €80 million.

Following the completion of the transaction, Michel Artières, chairman and CEO of ATEME, said: “We are proud to announce the completion of this major step in the acquisition of Anevia following the signature of the final agreements on 6th October. The first stage of the transaction has been successfully completed and the natural course of the transaction will enable Ateme to finalise the acquisition of Anevia in the coming weeks.”
