Aspera joins IT Broadcast Workflow as Gold Sponsor

Aspera has confirmed its position as Gold Sponsor at TVBEurope's conference, and will also sponsor a case study on BT Sport.

With less than a week to go until TVBEurope’s IT Broadcast Workflow (ITBW) conference, Aspera has confirmed its position as Gold Sponsor of the event. The company will also sponsor a case study on BT Sport’s creation and debut year, part of the packed agenda at the day-long event.

Aspera’s mission is to create the next-generation software technologies that move the world’s large data at maximum speed, regardless of file size, transfer distance and network conditions. The company focuses on supplying data transfer solutions that help organisations operate and collaborate more effectively on a global scale.

Film studios, post production companies, visual effects houses, sports and news broadcasters rely on Aspera software to reduce their production cycles while securely delivering high-resolution media worldwide.

ITBW is Europe’s premier event charting the development and adaptation of file-based operations in European broadcasting organisations. The event, taking place on 8 July at BAFTA London, will feature an extensive case study programme, followed by networking drinks.

Featuring in the agenda is the Aspera-sponsored case study on BT Sport’s creation and first year, presented by BT Sport chief engineer, Andy Beale. Beale will provide an insider’s look at the key technologies that have been deployed to support the sports channel with a focus on file-centric workflows and data replication for the purposes of disaster recovery.

Tickets to ITBW are still available via the event website.
