Amino Technologies rebrands as Aferian

Company's two go-to-market brands, 24i and Amino Communications, will continue to operate under their respective names

Software-led media company Amino Technologies has announced a change of name to Aferian plc.

The company said the change is part of its new strategy to become a software-driven growth business.

It has a set a target of 2025 to triple revenues and increase the percentage of software revenues that are recurring to 70 per cent. Aferian said early success has already been achieved, including delivering year-on-year double-digit growth in its annual recurring revenue in the first half of the current financial year.

“As momentum continues to build, it is the board’s view that a new name would better reflect the true scale, breadth and potential of the group’s operations and market positioning,” said the company in a statement. “As a result, Amino Technologies plc will be renamed Aferian plc. The group’s two go-to-market brands, 24i and Amino Communications, will continue to operate under their respective names.”

Meanwhile, the company’s non-executive chairwoman Karen Bach has announced plans to step down, with the search for her replacement expected to begin shortly.
