Audio post facility Pip Studios to launch in June

Six Dolby Atmos stages have been built on the Berkshire site

Audio post production facility Pip Studios will launch in June, the company has announced.

The facility will provide audio localisation services for films, TV, gaming and streaming services. Six Dolby Atmos stages have been built on the Pip Studios site in Winnersh, Berkshire.

Pip was co-founded by Ally Curran, Mark Sheffield (both previously from Deluxe) and Nigel Bennett, who will act as chairman alongside his current duties as MD at Molinare. The trio have worked on over 200 films between them, including the Fast and Furious franchise, Dunkirk and Jumanji.

“This is such an exciting time to get into the localisation business,” said Bennett. “There is a clear increase in demand in the UK for localised content across various platforms, as the industry diversifies into new consumer trends. With our collective knowledge and expertise, we know the standards expected of us from our clients, and we can’t wait to get started in June.”
