Leveraging Infosys Topaz AI, Race Centre aims to deliver an immersive viewing experience for fans of the sport

Infosys and Formula E have announced the launch of an AI-powered digital platform designed to provide an immersive experience for fans. Combining race feeds with AI-driven content, the Race Centre is a unified platform providing AI commentary, interactive gamified features, static explainer videos, race control updates and more.

Built on Infosys’s Topaz AI foundation, the platform provides insights and content across the entire race cycle, from practice sessions to race day. Features include

  • Generative AI Commentary Engine: Real–time, context–aware race narration.
  • Podium Predictions and ‘PIF Driver of the Race’ Fan Voting: Interactive engagement enabling fans to predict podium outcomes during practice and qualifying sessions. Fans can also vote for the ‘PIF Driver of the Race’ encouraging participation and excitement around potential race outcomes.
  • PIT BOOST Tracking: An interactive feature that lets fans track the mandatory fast–charging pit stop in select races and see how it impacts driver positions and race momentum through clear visuals.
  • Selected Driver Event Tracker: Provides timelines of each drivers’ key moments (Overtakes & ATTACK MODE deployment) at any point during the race.
  • Agentic AI for Data Orchestration: Topaz agents seamlessly process and integrate over 1.5 million data points across each race including race control updates that feed into the Race Centre dashboard to showcase race positions, and car movements in a 2D racetrack visualisation.
