HighfieldAI has announced a strategic partnership with CGI OpenMedia.
Developed to drive streamlined workflows for broadcast newsrooms, multimodal, agentic AI solution HighField AI has been integrated with CGI OpenMedia.
According to the two companies, the collaboration aims to reduce manual work by up to 75 per cent, enabling automation of time-consuming editorial production tasks such as sourcing graphics and populating story templates.

Ofir Benovici, co-founder of HighField AI, said, “HighField AI was built with a clear mission—deliver practical tools that enhance, not upend, the way existing newsrooms operate.
“News teams are under constant pressure to move fast and deliver high-impact stories across multiple platforms. But the time lost to manual tasks like sourcing visuals or filling in graphics templates adds up quickly. By integrating directly with systems like CGI OpenMedia, HighField AI understands the editorial context of each story and automates much of the manual graphics preparation. This means journalists can stay focused on reporting, while Highfield AI handles the repetitive production work behind the scenes.”
“At CGI, our mission is to enable modern newsrooms with flexible, impactful solutions,” added Michael Pfitzner, VP, newsroom solutions at CGI. “HighField AI provides a layer of intelligent automation that aligns with OpenMedia’s open architecture and newsroom-AI philosophy. Together, we’re helping broadcasters meet the growing demands for efficiency.”
