Tyrell has supplied a Clear-Com intercom solution to SIS LIVE for its new headquarters in MediaCityUK and its facility in Milton Keynes. The Tyrell solution combines Clear-Com’s Eclipse Omega Matrix, V-Series User Panels, Integrated FreeSpeak and OptoCore. The solution enables SIS LIVE to put its entire intercom and commentary traffic over its new OptoCore fibre network and WAN. Clear-Com’s Eclipse Matrix enables the connection between MediaCityUK and Milton Keynes via an IP trunking link. Clear-Com’s partnership with OptoCore allowed the creation of the fibre network that could deliver both full bandwidth audio and video with almost zero latency. Clear-Com’s matrix frame enabled SIS LIVE to accommodate all 64 MADI channels in a single card. In addition, through the use of the IVC-32 IP cards, Clear-Com’s IP technology offers SIS LIVE the ability to place its V-Series user panels over their OptoCore network or their corporate LAN/WAN. FreeSpeak wireless also integrates in the Eclipse Matrix. “Clear-Com’s robust matrix, which serves as the heart of the communications platform, delivers the features, functionality, audio quality and performance we require for our major new development at MediaCityUK,” commented Dave Gill, head of Technical Delivery, SIS LIVE. “This was a fantastic opportunity for Tyrell to supply and install a complex intercom solution for such a prestigious broadcaster,” commented Mark Lynn, managing director, Tyrell UK. “Clear-Com’s innovative intercom solutions deliver uncompromising levels of audio performance and reliability as well as offering a fully scalable platform ensuring that client communication needs are met now and in the future.”www.clearcom.com
