Telestream agrees ITBW sponsorship

Digital media lifecycle expert Telestream has signed up as a Gold Sponsor for IT Broadcast Workflow (ITBW), TVBEurope’s event dedicated to change management, greater operational efficiency, multiple platform delivery and business process management in television broadcasting. The company will present a case study on Canal Plus. Broadcast engineer Charles Lesoil is the French channel’s speaker. Telestream joins TransMedia Dynamics (TMD), EVS, ProConsultant Informatique (PCI), Tedial and MediaGeniX as Gold Sponsors for ITBW, which will be held on 9 July at 195 Piccadilly, the BAFTA Members’ Club in London. Telestream provides world-class live and on-demand digital video tools and workflow solutions that enable consumers and businesses to transform video on the desktop and across the enterprise. Many of the world’s most demanding media and entertainment companies, as well as a growing number of users in a broad range of business environments, rely on Telestream products to streamline operations, reach broader audiences and generate more revenue from their media. Telestream products span the entire digital media lifecycle, including video capture, encoding, transcoding, playout, delivery, and live streaming, as well as intelligent file-based workflow automation and management.  Telestream’s flagship Vantage product family offers GPU accelerated transcoding for every screen plus the world’s most intelligent workflow orchestration. Vantage Transcode products can be used alone, clustered to increase capacity, or added to an existing Vantage ecosystem. With Vantage, every step of the workflow can be planned, managed and monitored. Workflows can be extended to include analysis, automated decision-making and enterprise-class system management to maximise efficiency, system utilisation and visibility – all within a unified system. Pipeline network-based SDI video capture and playout devices move video in and out of file-based workflows and enable realtime editing or transcoding while capture for fast turnaround production. Registration for ITBW 2013, the fifth ITBW conference, is open, and those who book early will save two-thirds of the conference price. The early bird rate is just £49 for the full day including refreshments and lunch. The full price is £149 (all prices are subject to UK VAT).
