STRYME partners with Monte Carlo for GENESIX and studio11 December 2013
Broadcast solutions company STRYME has teamed up with Monte Carlo Digital Television and Broadcast Solutions to market STRYME’s GENESIX range of playout systems in France and Monaco. STRYME has also set up a new studio showroom in Nice, for live presentations of GENESIX products and GENESIX/Octoshape playout solutions.
GENESIX has been used by broadcasters including Austrian ORF, Sky, DAF Germany, SBS Broadcasting Group and Telecom Italia. Having launched its products in the USA and Russia, STRYME is aiming to make an impact on the French Riviera.
“Sparked by the rising interest in GENESIX over the past three years, we have fast-tracked our market expansion,” commented STRYME CEO, Mr. Goce Zdravkoski. “We have grasped the opportunity to work in tandem with Monte Carlo Digital Broadcast Solutions at the very heart of the international film industry. Presenting the innovative features of the new generation GENESIX and streaming products on the Côte d’Azur was the next logical step. The Côte d’Azur is home to numerous renowned film studios; it is recognised all over the world as ‘the’ place for high quality productions, with the Cannes Film Festival being the world’s premier showcase for the best of the best.”
The new subsidiary and studio showroom in Nice enables STRYME and Monte Carlo Digital Broadcast Solutions to provide its customers with support at a local level. Building on the business model established with ORS in Austria for broadcasting via satellite and terrestrial platforms, the partners are now offering the French market an addition to the GENESIX playout family: the GENESIX/Octoshape solution, making Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) possible for customers.
The integration of the Octoshape streaming technology with the GENESIX systems allows customers to stream directly over the internet via the Octoshape platform.
