SGT and Sinequa enter partnership

SGT and Sinequa have announced a partnership with a common purpose: to integrate Sinequa’s semantic search and navigation technology, Intuition, into SGT’s Media Manager end-to-end digital content management system for the broadcast and media industries.

According to a released statement, this agreement initiates a close cooperation between two fast-growing and innovative software companies in order to leverage their respective high-technology.

Sinequa’s last-generation multilingual search engine features three complementary search modes: by words, by meaning and by header field. SGT makes Sinequa’s Intuition technology available to rich media such as video, and turns it into an outstanding content management solution for the Broadcast and Media industries when combined with SGT’s vertical expertise and know-how.

The new ‘Advanced search and cataloguing’ module of SGT’s Media Manager allows for a swift and user-friendly access to catalogued media. It not only provides flexible searches, but also highly meaningful answers, thanks to its semantic search based on natural language and to its intuitive navigation. Users will also have the ability to customise their own user interface to their needs.
