Ross Video takes to the road with Carbonite

16 May 2011

Having launched Carbonite, Ross Video’s new mid-size production switchers, at NAB 2011, Ross will begin demonstrating the product in cities around Europe, and elsewhere, from next week with a Carbonite World Tour, writes David Fox.

The new Carbonite series attracted a lot of attention at NAB, earning two best of show awards from broadcast industry magazines. “Show visitors were really impressed with the power and cost effectiveness of Carbonite,” claimed Nigel Spratling, Ross’ Switcher Business Development Manager. “Not everyone can get to NAB and so we have decided to put together a World Tour to introduce Carbonite and Ross Video globally.”

The tour will start on May 23 and will visit more than 30 cities worldwide, with sign up information on the Ross Video website.

“Nothing beats seeing a product ‘in the flesh’ and this road show enables many more people to see Carbonite on their home turf,” continued Spratling. “Les O’Reilly and I have divided the world up between the two of us, and together with our local channel partners and Ross Video regional sales managers and staff, we shall be giving one- and two-day seminars on this great new product line as well as introducing the Ross Video product portfolio in regions where the company is less well known.”

European dates for the tour include: May 23 + 25, Crawley, UK; May 24, Birmingham; May 27, Paris; May 30, Madrid; June 1, Cologne; June 6, Munich; July 5, Rome; and July 8, Milan.
