Cognitive solutions and cloud platforms can deliver real business transformation to media organisations. IBM has claimed it has come to IBC to demonstrate this in three areas of
the show.

At meeting suite 15.MS22, IBM has covened industry leaders and experts for strategic discussions. It is showcasing IBM Watson, a technology platform that uses natural language processing and machine learning to reveal insights from large amounts of unstructured data. Also on show are analytics, media workflow transformation and IBM Systems Storage solutions for the broadcast industry.

In the Content Everywhere zone, at Hall 14.A10, IBM highlights its IBM Cloud Video Services including the Clearleap cloud video streaming platform and the Ustream live streaming platform.In Hall 7 stand G18-20 there are demonstrations of high-speed file transfer software from Aspera, an IBM company; Cloud Object Storage – with software and appliances for fast storage, management and retrieval of unstructured data from Cleversafe; and also solutions that deliver ‘captivating weather content to broadcasters’ from The Weather Company, another
IBM business.
