Nevion launches Russian service centre

Media transport specialist Nevion has opened a service centre in Moscow to provide support for its customers in the region. The new base is a joint-initiative between Nevion and Beta-Service, a Russian professional broadcast service and maintenance provider.

The new centre will support Nevion’s professional broadcast and media transport solutions for IP, optical and terrestrial networks.

“This new service centre means that Nevion can now support both its existing and new customers locally in Russia, which is especially important with Sochi looming on the horizon,” said Kjetil Bonde, Nevion’s senior vice president of sales for Europe. In Beta-Service we’ve found a partner that is well respected within the market, and appreciates and understands our media transport solutions.”

Igor Korotaev, general manager of Beta-Service added: “Nevion’s media transport solutions lead the field so we’re delighted to be partnering with them to work with and support customers for our service centre here in Moscow.”

Increasing its presence in the country, Nevion will also bring its media transport solutions to NATEXPO in Russia. The show runs from 19-21 November, and is held at Moscow’s Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre. Visitors will be able to see the company’s latest solutions for video over IP, optical networks and digital terrestrial television.
