Day Two of the MediaTech 360 Summit will focus on business transformation.
Following an introduction from chairman Niall Duffy, the agenda kicks off with a look at the top tech trends through to 2020, including agile business models, IoT and cloud-based TV.
Duffy will return to the stage for one of the key discussions of the day: What does AI mean for broadcast? Steve Sharman, director, Hackthorn Innovation’s Steve Sharman, Ernst & Young’s Martyn Whistler and IBM Europe’s Dominic Stone will explore the the practical applications of AI in media and broadcast operations, and look to ascertain how far AI can go.
Following a lunch break, Google’s Justin Gupta will join DPP managing director Mark Harrison and Sundog Media Toolkit’s Richard Welsh for the TV is not dead; it is reborn keynote panel discussion before a Sony HDR masterclass and two more panel discussions: Beyond broadcast – what are the strategies? and Operational challenges in the market, which will feature key names from BT Sport, UKTV, Ericsson and Freesat.
Duffy will then wrap up the two-Day Summit with an overview of of the inaugural event as we once again look ahead to a trip to the RAI in September.
