Manufacturers release support for OS X Mountain Lion

Blackmagic Design, AJA Video Systems and Telestream have revealed software updates for their products that add full support for Apple’s new OS X Mountain Lion desktop operating system. Blackmagic Design software updates include support for Apple’s new Gatekeeper anti malware security protection for all products. Gatekeeper is a new security feature that protects your computer from downloading and installing malicious software. When Gatekeeper is set to the default option, Blackmagic Design customers will continue to be able to download software, easily maintaining full security protection. AJA Video Systems’ update also includes Gatekeeper certification. The new v10.3.2 software is also compatible with Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) and is available for AJA’s latest KONA and Io XT and Io Express products. The new v10.3.2 drivers are now available as a free download for all KONA LHi, KONA LHe Plus, KONA 3, KONA 3G, Io XT and Io Express customers. Telestream has released a public beta version of Flip4Mac 3.0, which has been completely modernised to provide continuous Windows Media support for OS X Mountain Lion. Telestream also supports Gatekeeper. Also included in this public beta release is Flip Player, a sophisticated new video player for the Mac. Flip Player offers high-quality video playback in a wide range of popular video formats, for the web, smart phones, and high definition movies.  An upgrade to Flip Player Pro adds unique features such as intuitive video editing.
