Red Bee Media wins multi-year deal with JSTV

The company has secured a multi-year arrangement with NHK CosmoMedia Europe to provide HD-enabled post, media management and broadcast services for the JSTV (Japanese Satellite Television) channel portfolio across the UK, Europe, Russia, the Middle East and North Africa.

The JSTV channels – which are operated by NHK Enterprises Inc subsidiary NHK CosmoMedia Europe – broadcast a wide range of Japanese language programming 24 hours per day, including NHK News, documentaries, drama, animation/anime and sport, alongside entertainment shows from Japanese commercial broadcasters. The channels are available in more than 70 countries via Hotbird 6 as a DTH service, as well as a number of cable and IPTV operators.
