Greek private broadband and satellite service provider Forthnet is introducing a new business service, TV Circuits on Demand, that is being implemented with the use of T-VIPS’ TVG450 JPEG2000 Gateway solution.

Forthnet’s new service will transfer video content from stadiums or any other fixed locations across the country over its FO network to the Nova media centre in Athens. The company will also be using T-VIPS Connect to manage the contribution network.

The solution – which was selected after extensive field trials – was delivered in close cooperation with T-VIPS’ Greek partner, OmniWave Ltd.
