Kitchen Factory invests in UK global trends intelligence

French production company Kitchen Factory has signed a deal to tap global TV trends intelligence from UK based international media consultancy K7 Media.

It will use K7 Media’s subscription services to gain global insights into content and programming trends, with a focus on food programming.

Kitchen Factory specialises in unscripted formats themed around food and is best known for France’s answer to The Great British Bake Off – Le Meilleur Pâtissier – produced in partnership with BBC Worldwide France.

K7 Media will deliver reporting and analysis on international TV programming and content trends to the Paris production company in its latest foray into the French market.

Dan Kleczewski, lead developer at Kitchen Factory Production, said, “In the same way we want to deliver content that leads on national and global trends, it’s important that we use industry tools that are themselves ahead of the game. K7 Media’s suite of reporting provides unrivalled insights for the programmes and narratives we develop.”

The new account adds to K7 Media’s client portfolio of producers, broadcasters, distributors and advertisers elsewhere across the world, including NRK (Norway), CBS (USA) and ITV (UK).
