SATIS to go ahead in Paris

SATIS, the annual broadcast tradeshow in Paris, is set to go ahead this week following the terror attacks in the city on 13 November

SATIS, the annual broadcast tradeshow in Paris, is set to go ahead this week following the terror attacks in the city on 13 November. The event, dedicated to the broadcast and pro-AV community in French-speaking markets, will open tomorrow at Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles, and run until 19 November as scheduled.

Security measures in and around the event will be reinforced, and organiser Reed Expositions France has warned delegates that this may lead to delays, particularly with regards to on-site access.

The organiser is liaising with the French authorities to ensure that all necessary measures are taken to ensure the security of clients and staff. It is monitoring the situation closely has asked delegates to check the event website, which will be updated on a regular basis.

In a statement, Reed Expositions commented, on behalf of all management and staff, ‘[we] would like to express their deepest condolences to the families of the victims of yesterday’s terror attacks, and will respect the three days of national mourning declared by the French President.’
