dock10 runs on Xytech MediaPulse

Xytech’s MediaPulse work order and asset management solution has been implemented by dock10 in its new Salford production facility at MediaCityUK. Studio managers, engineers, operations, account management, client support and finance teams now have realtime, shared access to data about the facilities and productions. Andy Waters, head of Studios at dock10, commented: “Starting up a brand new business at MediaCityUK was a massive undertaking, and the Xytech team has been by our side throughout the process. In planning for the wide range of sophisticated needs at dock10, we looked for a solution that had a proven track record, flexibility, powerful functionality, and efficiency. MediaPulse was the obvious answer for us; it is a powerful platform that helps us manage our resources and information easily and effectively. This is an exciting time for MediaCityUK and dock10, and we are pleased that Xytech is an integral part of it.” Greg Dolan, Xytech COO, said: “dock10 is an amazing operation within an astounding complex. This is a sophisticated, multi-tiered business operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, across a wide array of tasks. That is exactly the sort of challenge that MediaPulse was created to meet. We have been consistently impressed with dock10’s plan and execution, and their team has been wonderful to work with. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with them.”

At the same time Sinead Greenaway has decided not to return as the Chief Executive of dock10 following her recent maternity leave. Sinead said: "This has been a really difficult decision especially as the business is about to enter an exciting period of growth. I am immensely proud to have launched the business and built both a strong team and one of the most technologically advanced facilities in Europe. The business and MediaCity UK are now a ‘go to’ location for many of our production colleagues. It feels like a good time to hand on the baton and I have no doubt that the business will go from strength to strength." – Jake
