IT Broadcast Workflow reveals new panellist and sponsor2 May 2014
TVBEurope’s IT Broadcast Workflow (ITBW) conference has announced a new panellist and sponsor for this year’s event.
MC Patel (pictured), CEO of Emotion Systems, will be heading up a panel on loudness at this year’s IT Broadcast Workflow conference, which returns to BAFTA on 8 July.
MC Patel is founder and CEO of Emotion Systems. He started the company with the aim of developing easy-to-use, automatable and scalable signal-processing solutions for file-based workflows.
Combining a comprehensive track record in engineering with a thorough understanding of broadcast technologies and workflows, Patel now leads an organisation that has delivered solutions to small and large professional broadcast organisations the world over.
With previous roles at companies including Quantel, Abekas, Alpha Image and Discreet Logic, he is well known throughout the industry for his entrepreneurship, professional knowledge and experience, as well as for his enthusiasm and passion for the industry.
Pebble Beach Systems is again supporting ITBW as a Silver Sponsor. The company specialises in broadcast automation, channel in a box and integrated channel technology, with a range of systems designed to manage acquisition, file-based workflows, archiving and multichannel playout.
The company’s Marina playout automation solution is flexible and scalable up to hundreds of channels while the new Marina Lite offers this best of breed functionality for systems of up to four channels.
Dolphin is a flexible integrated channel solution, which delivers highly automated, frame-accurate multi-channel playout and ingest capability.
The new Stingray channel in a box solution delivers a full HD ingest and playout solution for systems up to six channels.
ITBW is Europe’s premier event charting the development and adaptation of file-based operations in European broadcasting organisations. ITBW is now in its sixth year and promises to deliver a wide range of innovative case study practices.
Following the success of ITBW’s revised format last year, networking drinks in the evening will follow the day’s extensive case study programme.
There is only a week left to book the early bird rate of just £65 (plus VAT), which ends on 9 May 2014.
