AFP to share Cannes Film Festival in realtime

For the 65th Cannes Film Festival, cultural news agency AFP will produce 300 HD videos in Arabic, English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish. The festival will be in the spotlight each day through four to six videos of one to three minutes’ duration in web, TV and mobile platforms. Particular attention will be paid to Brazil, the guest country and participant. Exclusive interviews with directors and actors, extracts from trailers and film press conferences will also be featured. On 27 May, the AFP will broadcast live immediately after the prizewinners have been announced. A live report the same evening will be released in English, French and Spanish. The multimedia product will include text, photos, graphics and links to the AFP live video feed. Graphics illustrating the festival, films in competition and winners will also be available.
