A patent-pending technology that ties digital advertising campaigns to TV schedules in real time is being showcased.

Spot Direct allows broadcasters to sell a value-added service that gives their advertisers the opportunity to time a digital campaign so that it coincides precisely with the appearance of TV spots during popular programmes.

The company suggests that surgically precise synchronisation can increase click through rates and time spent on a site by up to 10 times.
